Warranty Policy

We stand behind every product we sell. Here's everything you need to know about our warranty coverage.

1. Official Brand Warranty

Phonex guarantees that all products explicitly marked with 'Official Warranty' are fully covered by the respective manufacturer's official warranty terms in Bangladesh. This warranty period (e.g., 1-Year or 2-Year) and the specific conditions are dictated entirely by the brand's authorized service centers.

2. Coverage by Product Type

  • Smartphones & Tablets: Typically 1 year official manufacturer hardware warranty.
  • Laptops & MacBooks: Typically 1 to 2 years official manufacturer warranty.
  • Accessories (Chargers, Cables, Earbuds): Typically 3 to 6 months replacement warranty, subject to the brand.
  • Batteries & Adapters (Included in-box): Often limited to 6 months even if the device has a 1-year warranty.

3. What is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and factory workmanship.
  • Spontaneous hardware failures occurring under normal, intended usage conditions.
  • Pre-installed factory software issues that prevent basic device functionality.

4. Warranty Void Conditions (Not Covered)

  • Any form of physical damage, denting, or screen cracking (accidental or intentional).
  • Liquid or water damage, even for devices advertised as "Water Resistant".
  • Damage caused by unauthorized third-party repairs, modifications, or opening the device casing.
  • Software modifications, custom ROM flashing, rooting, or jailbreaking the device.
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic degradation, or battery degradation over time.
  • Damage from using unauthorized or counterfeit chargers and accessories.

5. How to Claim Warranty

  • Step 1: Locate your original Phonex purchase invoice and the intact original product box.
  • Step 2: You may visit the official brand service center directly for the fastest resolution, or bring the device to our Phonex outlet.
  • Step 3: If submitted through Phonex, we will forward the device to the official authorized service center on your behalf.
  • Step 4: Standard warranty claims take between 7 to 21 working days, depending entirely on the brand’s service center queue and parts availability.
